Biography - Jef Clark Singer Guitarist

Jef began his career singing in heavy metal bands and then decided to go it alone after self teaching himself the guitar. Jef started busking in the tubes of London and soon became an in demand performer on the pro gig circuit.

Jef was based in Zurich Switzerland for several years, followed by a stint in  Karlsruhe Germany. Many worldwide tours have been made including tours of Norway, Australia, New Zealand, and Africa.

Jef is a very versatile singer. He has a huge repertoire of cover songs and is ideally suited for corporate  events, pubs, clubs and restaurants.

Jef is a prolfic songwiter. His first album, titled God Life and Love was recorded mostly in Cape Town, South Africa. This was followed by Siren's song and features top Indonesian guitarist Gedi. A third album, “On Eagles wings” featuring ex Wishbone Ash guitarist Muddy Manninen is currently underway and will be released soon. A selection of songs from all three albums  are available on this website (See music section).

Jef's music is inspired by his Christian faith.  He had a profound spiritual experience in Israel which caused him to become a believer and get baptized. Around 10 years ago he was diagnosed with cancer and given eighteen months to live.Through prayer the cancer disappeared completely, leaving Doctors bewildered.

Resources and information on Christian healing can be found here www.cappsministries.com and awmi.net

(Jef is willing to answer any questions on this and give guidance to anyone seeking healing, just send a message using the contact form on the website).

The voice is commanding, powerful and soulful, gifted for sure but honed through years of hard work. The only technology during his live performances is a microphone and a loudspeaker, a real change from the plethora of “Karaoke” performers around in today's technology gone mad societies.

The cover songs mirror the originals, powerful, strong and evocative, taking a trip down memory lane with his renditions of Cat Steven's Wild World, REM's Losing my Religion and Ben E. King's Stand by me, with not a backing track in sight. Other cover songs include Lying eyes (Eagles), Mr Tambourine man (Bob Dylan), Hotel California (Eagles), Sound of silence (Simon and Garfunkel), Tequila sunrise (Eagles), Dust in the wind (Kansas). The Boxer (Simon and Garfunkel), One (U2) and many more.

Jef  is currently available for a wide variety of events. Get in touch for more details  and dates.
